Lacing Cards
Follow the instructions to show your child how to make some interesting lacing cards.
Lacing Cards
Materials
- Greeting cards or postcards
- Shoelaces the longer the better
- Hole punch
- Glue
Directions
Glue the greeting card closed, or glue two postcards together. Allow time for the glue to dry. Punch holes around the edges of the cards. Make big holes for younger children and smaller holes for older children, according to the child's coordination. Let the child thread the shoelace through the holes. Make up different patterns; threading in one and out the other hole, or skipping a hole and then coming backwards.
