Grocery-Bag Blocks

Materials

  1. Large grocery bags
  2. Newspaper
  3. Wide masking or packaging tape

Directions

Lay the grocery bag on a flat surface and fold over the open edge, making a crease of two or three inches. Open the bag and fill with tightly crumpled newspaper. Fold the stuffed bag along the crease line and tape closed. Make several blocks this way until there are enough to build a fort, wall, or other imaginary structure. These blocks can be used indoors or outdoors and can be replaced with relative ease.
