She specializes in anxiety disorders and translating cognitive-behavioral skills into steps that children can easily follow. Her series of self-help books reflect this; Dawn is a multi-award-winning author of best-sellers such as ‘What to Do When You Worry Too Much’ and ‘What To Do When Your Brain Gets Stuck’. Her books have been translated into 23 languages and she has been featured on the TODAY Show and CNN, as well as radio programs, sites such as WebMD, and various parenting magazines. Her TEDx Talk, ‘Rethinking anxiety: Learning to face fear’, has been viewed over 1 million times on YouTube.
