Interpersonal Quick Tips

Would you say your child is more of a bookworm or social butterfly? It's important for kids to strengthen both their interpersonal and intrapersonal talents. These intelligences work together to help us define who we are.

You can help strengthen your child's interpersonal intelligence by:

  • Asking her to help younger siblings or other children with their school work.

  • Giving her the responsibility to help determine where the family will go on vacation this year, requiring her to survey other family members and presenting their findings at a family meeting.

  • Encouraging her to join academic study groups or to form her own study group.

  • Allowing her to volunteer in the community.
