Materials

  • Plants and flowers collected on a walk
  • Crayons
  • Paper

Directions

  1. Go on a walk with your child, and bring home a variety of plants and flowers, such as grass, leaves, dandelions, and so on.
  2. Spread them out on a table in your backyard.
  3. Encourage your child to draw a picture using only crayons in colors that match the items you have collected.
