Materials
- Egg carton
- Paint
- Hole punch
- Pipe cleaners
- Googly eyes (buy at craft store)
Directions
Cut the egg carton into sections. Paint and decorate each section according to whatever critter you are trying to create. Glue on the googly eyes. Punch a hole for the mouth. Depending on how many legs and how long they will be, cut the pipe cleaners accordingly. Punch a hole into the cardboard with a paper clip for each leg and push the pipe cleaner through it, twisting it into place. If your insect has antennae, punch a hole through the top and thread the pipe cleaners through, twisting them into antennae.
