  • English : habitational name from either of two places called Reach, in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, from Old English rǣc ‘raised strip of land or other linear feature’ (in the case of the Cambridgeshire name referring to Devil’s Dyke, a post-Roman earthwork).
