Japanese : there are two forms of this name, both written with
characters meaning ‘storehouse’ and ‘rice paddy’. The more frequent
version is found mainly in western Honshū and the
Kyōto-Ōsaka area, and its bearers are descended from the
Abel clan through the Sasaki family.
