  • Americanized spelling of Czech Deč (see Dec).
  • Americanized spelling of Hungarian Décsi, or Decsi, a habitational name for someone from a place called Decs in Tolna county, or Décs in Békés county or Nyitra county, now in Slovakia. All of these places were named from personal names derived from Gyeü, a Turkic name of dignity.
