  • Spanish (Crisostomo) : from the personal name, a derivative of Greek Khrysostomos, literally ‘mouth of gold’. This was the nickname of St. John Chrysostom (4th century ad), a prominent theologian, and one of the four Fathers of the Eastern Church.
