by Trish Kuffner, author of The Toddler's Busy Book

This art project calls for using half of a very small pumpkin as a stamp to make Halloween cards.

Materials

  • Very small pumpkin
  • Knife
  • Orange and black tempera paint
  • Paper

Directions

  1. Cut a small pumpkin in half and dip it into orange and black paint.
  2. Press it onto paper to make a pumpkin print.
  3. When the paint dries, cover with clear contact paper for a Halloween place mat, or fold the paper in half to make a Halloween card.
