Dry Leaf Collage - FamilyEducation

Dry Leaf Collage

by Trish Kuffner, author of The Toddler's Busy Book

This toddler art project makes a nature-filled work of art, using leaves from your backyard.

  • Construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Dry leaves
  • Glue stick

  1. Cut one or two leaf shapes out of construction paper.
  2. Crinkle up dry leaves until they're in fairly small pieces (this may be your toddler's favorite part).
  3. Spread glue on one side of the construction paper leaf and sprinkle with dry leaf pieces.
  4. If you like, punch a hole in the construction paper and hang to display.
