Naturalistic Gift-Boosting Activities

What's it all about?

Does your child spend more time peeking under rocks than scrambling over them? Kids start out with a natural curiosity about the world around them. But when icky gets too yucky, it often means bye-bye to bugs and beetles. Here are some activities to keep that initial interest and turn it into a lifelong habit of appreciating our natural world.

What can you do on a daily basis? The family pet can be a link to the bigger animal world. Hikes are a great alternative to TV time, and there's always the lure of gardening, whether in a kitchen windowsill or out on the back 40.

Choose your child's age group to get great activities.
