Harry Potter is back and better than ever in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. This book hit the shelves running, and like the others in the series, it does not disappoint. Full of magic and mystery, humor and suspense, this story is one big adventure -- Harry Potter style!

Right before Harry's third term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry begins, trouble starts. Sirius Black, a dangerous criminal, has broken out of Azkaban, a supposedly inescapable wizards' prison. There is more than one mystery surrounding Black. He was both a close friend and the possible cause of the death of Harry's parents, and said to be the heir to the Dark Lord, Voldemort. Now he has escaped, leaving only two clues as to where he might be headed, and most likely it's Hogwarts -- with Harry as his target! Harry is in terrible danger. Worse yet, there may be a traitor roaming the halls of Hogwarts! And there's more bad news, Harry must spend the summer holidays with his relatives, the Dursleys. Magically, Harry's holidays are saved when series of circumstances leads him to spend the rest of his holiday in wonderful Leaky Cauldron.

But all is not well for long. The escape of Sirius Black means serious trouble for Harry. Black has had it in for Harry ever since he defeated "You-Know-Who", and has since vowed revenge against him. At Hogwarts, Harry is under constant watch by the Dementors--guards from Azkaban who are looking for Black. But Harry is not going to let anything stop him. He has been warned to stay away, but Harry is determined to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding Sirius Black. Full of questions and wanting answers, Harry is off on another magical adventure!
