Connect the Dots

Materials

  1. Drawing paper
  2. Pencil
  3. Ink or ballpoint pen
  4. Crayons or colored felt pens
  5. Eraser

Directions

Using the pencil, make ten to thirty dots (depending on the counting ability of the child) on a plain sheet of drawing paper. Randomly number the dots in pencil with the first and last number on the same dot. Connect the dots in numerical order with the ink pen, creating an abstract drawing. Wait until dry and then erase the pencil numbers. Use crayons or felt pens to color in the design.
