Estimated time required to make this costume:
few hours

Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
color-coordinated clothes for a twosome, in Space-y colors and styling (you decide) Makeup to match or coordinate, in alien manner spangles, sparkles antennae/"deely bobbers" for head, made or purchased oblong cardboard box large enough for two scissors or Exacto knife rubber cement or glue Aluminum foil (heavy duty, wide)

Instructions:
You might start with the box, because it sets the mood, and will inspire you. You need two holes in the top of the box to pop heads thru, and one arm hole on each side. Bottom of box is open, of course; cover the box with the foil. Try to find matching clothes from among items you already own, or get something you can make use of in Ordinary life, after Halloween: turtleneck shirts and leggings or leotard/tight combinations, or even sweatpants and shirts if that's more fitting for the weather. Accessories make the costume and provide the Glitz.

Other information to consider:
I am havin' a vision of battery-operated Christmas lights going 'round a Hula Hoop, as a Spacey kinda deal going 'round the middle of the box, but that's probably just post-Halloween brain overload, and probably over the top. We saw two young teens wearing this Alien Twins look last night. They looked awesome. They seemed to walk in rhythm, and had to exercise caution dealing with stairsteps and front porches, turning around, etc., but it was a very cool look...and probably safer than the Roller Derby queens who went up and down porches in skates (sigh!)
