Description of technique:
The best advice we gave our daughter was to be herself, most importantly. We also told her there is no need to be a "fake friend" just to have a friend, and if her friends leave to be with the "clique" then they soon will be back to be her friend because she is REAL. She now knows to stand up and believe in herself and ignore the cliques. Friends come and friends go. Oh, and she also knows that we are here for her at all times when she needs to talk-about anything!
