Objectives:
To get to know one another

Materials needed:
Brown paper bags Or shoe boxes
Crayons
Markers

Time estimate to complete:
Approximately one hour

Procedure:
1. Create your own Me Bag by decorating a brown bag with pictures that represent you. Then add 5 items that tell about you. Share this with the class the first day of school.
2. Give each students their own bag to decorate. Have them go home and fill their bags with 5 items that tell about them.
3. Students then share their bag and items with the class. If time is an issue, they can share in small groups
