Math

Grade level:
3-5

Objectives:
To get the class ready for the day.

Materials needed:
Sprial notebook and pencil

Time estimate to complete:
20 minutes

Procedure:
Once the students have unpacked and picked their lunch, they are to open their Math Journal and copy the math word problem off the board. Then they are to work the problem. When they are done they may read silently until the whole class is ready. This helps to establish the learning atmosphere for the rest of the day.
