Procedure:
Promote a positive attitude for returning to school by having a first day of school party. Tell the students, "We're going to learn some fun and exciting things this year and that's a good reason to celebrate!" (Kids often comment that they've had an exciting first day of school and are motivated and excited to return to school.)
