Get Aquainted Game

K-2

Objectives:
The teacher and students will learn each others names much faster.

Materials needed:
Children
copy of words to chant

Time estimate to complete:
App. 5 min.

Procedure:
Whole group setting, each face needs to be visable for the teacher.
Teacher goes over words of chant for children.
"Let's Play the get aquainted game!" (clap,clap)
All you have to do is say your name (Teacher says name, then class echoes back her name)
then teacher points to each child individually as they say their name and the rest of the class echoes back each name.
When you have completed each child's name, say, "Now we've played the get aquainted game", (clap, clap).
