Description of safety strategy:
This system automatically captures the photo of the student/parent/personnel and makes up a card, either permanant plastic or paper, for daily visits. No one goes through the main entrance without their ID tag with photo. They go in and pass through a metal detector and exit the same way. This system can be used as an attendance recorder and lunch/library card and (SMART) can be used for personnel and daily guest pass. If a would-be assailant wanders into your school, they would have to give ID and the school would have a permanent record/data base that that person is in the building. You can even have a hot list of who cannot enter (a disgruntled spouse or student). I happen to know there is such a system. It was shown at the school security officer convention last year in WPB, Florida. Why isn't anyone interested in such a system! Come on it's your children's lives were talking about!
