Description of technique:
I realize that many parents teach their children that violence is wrong, and it is and isn't wrong. In adult life, no one would expect someone so simply not defend themselves from attack, and a playground/hallway/etc. should be no different. You see, bullies prey on weakness. If a child doesn't defend themselves, or simply tells an adult what has happened, it is a sign of weakness. If a child fights back, he's going to gain credibility, even if he loses. Yes, he may get hurt, but he'll remain safe (most bullies aren't serious lawbreakers and wouldn't severely hurt someone) and most importantly, he'll be left alone.

Age group this technique is effective for:
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond
