Coping with Bullies

Description of technique:
If someone is bullying a child, he/she should take the following steps:

1) Ask the bully to stop.

2) If the bullying does not stop, the child should say, "I've asked you to stop. If you don't, I will have to tell the teacher (or other authority figure)".

3) The bullied child should go to an adult and advise them of what is going on.

This only works if the child who is being bullied takes the steps within a reasonable timeframe. He can't ask the bully to stop and then wait a week before saying he'll tell the teacher.
