What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time required to make this costume:
two days

Difficulty level:
A bit more advanced - sewing definitely required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
-velvet for robe and gown
-fur for trim on robe and cuffs of gown
-crown can be bought at party store $2.00
-jewels, fabric glue and glitter gold fabric paint

Instructions:
Make a square of velvet for cape, outline in white fur. Sew gown to fit your child, use an outfit that fits him for a template and make it a couple of inches bigger in the waist. Tie a gold fabric belt around his waist. Attach robe with two safty pins. Stud up the robe around collar and hem with fabric glue and outline each jewel with gold glitter fabric paint.

Other information to consider:
This is a warm outfit and fun to wear, your son will love it. This costume could win a contest, we did for fifty dollars!!!!!
