What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time required to make this costume:
day and a half to make

Difficulty level:
A bit more advanced - sewing definitely required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
white fabric paint
thin padding (for layer 1 and 2)
colored material of an M&M
matching thread
matching zipper

Instructions:
1) Measure child.
2) Cut two circles out of padding, about 8 in. shorter than child.
3) Cut two cirles out of colored material, 1 in. longer than padding (one inch all around).
4) Mark the places where the head and legs will be on the padding of the costume.
5) Sew the three layers together, make sure to skip the head and leg holes.
6) Sew zipper on between leg holes, sew by hand.
7) Take fabric paint and carefully write M&M on the front of costume.

Other information to consider:
Do not wash costume after the sewing is done; always pre-wash!
