What age group is this costume for?
Elementary School

Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
Green spray paint
Football helmet
Green skirt
Tight, black pants
Long sleeved, tight, red shirt
Old broom

Instructions:
Unattach the mouth protector from the helmet. Spray paint the football helmet green and let dry over night (or as instructed on can).

Cut broom bristles to be about 6 inches tall and attach it to the back of the helmet (remove broom handle).

Cut slits up the skirt about every 3 inches, all around. But don't cut them too high.

Put on the pants and shirt. Then put the skirt on top of the pants. Then your helmet, and you're done!

Other information to consider:
A water gun or some other type of gun is a good prop to carry around.

Also, you probably will want to paint your face and/or hands black.
