Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
Red sweatpants
Red sweatshirt
Red knit (ski) snow hat
2 Lg white pom poms
1 Lg orange pom pom (some talented people can make these easily with yarn)
2 Small felt cut-outs to glue/sew on eyeballs (they need to be about half the diameter of the white pom poms - a little smaller than half looks better).
Glue
Optional: Red face paint

Instructions:
Sew the orange pom pom to the brim of the red knit hat, right near the edge, near where the forehead would go (this is Elmo's nose).
Sew the white pom poms close together above the orange pom pom. Then glue/sew the black felt circles to the white pom poms (these are Elmo's eyes).
Paint entire face red.
Put on hat, sweatshirt, sweatpants and POOF, YOU'RE ELMO!!!!
It really looks great when complete. Just make sure you set up the nose and eyes appropriately as Elmo's face is.
