One large box
pencil
colored construction paper
nontoxic glue
stapler/staples
green pipe cleaners
ribbon
watering can

Instructions:
Cut off all the box flaps, leaving the top & bottom of the box open. Cut points around the top of the box (to look like a picket fence). Draw flowers & leaves on the paper, cut them out, glue onto the pipe cleaners & staple them onto the box. Cut grass out of green construction paper & staple it along the bottom of the box. Staple 2 thick ribbons at the top of the box, so the garden can hang from your child's shoulders. Put a paper butterfly in your child's hair & top off the ensemble with the child carrying the watering can.

Other information to consider:
Have your child wear a black or dark color sweat suit so the fence & flowers are seen well.
