4 Star Costume Rating

What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School

Estimated time required to make this costume:
a little over an hour

Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
Green Panty hose
Stuffing
Green sweatshirt and Sweatpants
Green Hat
Small plastic jar (like vitamin bottle)
Beads or beans
Yellow felt
Red felt
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Large wiggle eyes

Instructions:
Cut off the top of the panty hose. Fill the small plastic bottle with the beads or beans and place in the bottom of the panty hose in one of the two legs. Stuff both legs all the way with the stuffing. Then glue or sew the legs together. At the opposite end of the rattle, glue the eyes on and with the red fabric cut out a tongue and glue it on. Then cut out small yellow triangles and glue them on. When you are done making the snake, glue its head to the hat so it will stay balanced and so it is facing forward. Then wrap the snake around their body and glue it to the shirt and pants.

Other information to consider:
You can also use velcro so the costume is a little easier to put on. Also, you shouldn't wrap it to tight or it won't go on very easily.
