What age group is this costume for? Preschool and Younger
Difficulty level: Quick and easy - no sewing required Almost as easy - some sewing
Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
white sleeper
white stocking hat or headband
white and pink felt
white yarn
pink or blue ribbon
strand of pearl beads
Instructions:
Cut out triangles of white felt and smaller pink ones and attach to head piece. Cut out a larger triangle in white felt, cut off one corner and fold into the corn and glue or sew. Stuff with cotton balls. Wrap with beads to give sparkle. Attach to head piece.
Cut a bunch of pieces of yarn (same length) for mane. This also goes on the head piece between ears.
Cut more yarn pieces like before, but longer, for tail. fold in half and tie together with ribbon. I attached it to the sleeper with a baby pin.

My daughter's costume was a hit. She was only two weeks old.
