What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time required to make this costume:
1 Hour

Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
Small and large cardboard box
Silver paing
Plastic accordion dryer vent pipe
Buttons
Jar lids
Plastic Easter eggs
Clothes pins
Colored shoe strings
Magic markers
Pipe cleaners
An imagination and a sunny day
Duct tape
Ribbon

Instructions:
Spray paint both boxes silver.
Cut out two large round eye holes, a large V-shaped or square shaped mouth hole, nose hole if wanted, and arm holes big enough to accommodate the dryer vent pipe.
Cut the vent pipe in two pieces and attach in arm holes.
Then use glue and your imagination to finish.
You may also spray paint vent pipe and old. Use one half of egg on each side of small box to make ears.
Add pipe cleaners at top (straight or curly-Q around) to form antennas.
On the front, use Easter eggs, ribbon, clothes pins, markers, and shoe string to create control panel.
Bow ties or other for a girl robot (you can also use ribbons to tie on the antennas...a little imagination will go a long way).

Other information to consider:
This is such a cheap, yet creative costume. Kids love it! I hope you do, too!
