Bag of Popcorn or Peanuts

Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
brown paper grocery bag for young children or large paper leaf bag for older children and adults

red and white paint

blue marker

hot glue gun

popped popcorn

peanuts with their shells

Instructions:
Paint the bag with vertical alternating red and white stripes. When the paint is dry write the word "popcorn" with the blue marker on the front and back of costume. Cut out a hole for your head on the flat bottom of the bag and arm holes on the sides. Hot glue the popped popcorn on the flat bottom of the bag where your head will go out. You may also glue popped popcorn onto an old baseball hat and wear that as a topper to your costume.

Other information to consider:
You can also make a bag of peanuts by using a plain brown grocery or leaf bag. Write the word "peanuts" on the front and back and hot glue peanuts to the flat bottom instead of popcorn.
