What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time required to make this costume:
About 2 hours, including leaf gathering.

Difficulty level:
Almost as easy - some sewing

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
White, sheer, see-through material
Twine and constuction paper (for "tagline")
White cardboard for shoulders
Leaves or brown paper bags to crunch up and put in bottom of material

Instructions:
Sew a tube with two pockets on either side. Fill either side with the leaves or brown paper bags. Put white cardboard on shoulders, glue to fabric, leave room for head to stick out. Attach twine to hat and make "tagline" to read anyting you choose.

Other information to consider:
If you use glow in the dark paint, it adds safety to this costume. It is warm because you can wear regular clothes underneath. The kids love to crunch up the leaves (outside activity).
