4 Star Costume Rating

What age group is this costume for?
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time required to make this costume:
About 48 hours

Difficulty level:
Almost as easy - some sewing

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
a long gold medieval type dress with long sleeves
fake flowers with a dull greenish type color
glittery scribble paint
body glitter and/or shimmer powder
thick wire that's easily bendable
matching (to your dress that is) shimmery fabric
small leaves and flowers

Instructions:
Attach fake flowers to the dress at the neckline and at the base of the dress by using a thread and needle. (When you sew them on, make sure you attach them through the plastic part of the flower for better security.)

Apply glittery scribble paint and smear it so it covers the whole flower.

Let the paint dry for 24 hours.

Take the wire and bend it to the shape of wings, but leave the top of the wings pointed for a more fantasy-like appeal. Cover with shimmery fabric, sew around the wire, and then sew the wings to the back of the dress.

Take the small leaves and flowers and place them in your hair, either by intertwining them with your hair or put your hair in an up do.

Apply body glitter and shimmery powder, then you are all done!!

Have fun!!!!!

Other information to consider:
When doing your makeup on your face, make sure you get a glitter that corresponds to the color of the dress.
