Estimated time required to make this costume:
1-2hrs. depending on how detailed you draw

Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
2 large rectangle pieces of cardboard
aluminum foil or silver fabric
hot glue gun
butcher paper or solid color wrapping paper
wide ribbon
markers

Instructions:
Take 2 large rectangle pieces of cardboard. Wrap them with aluminum foil or silver fabric. You can hot glue the edges to the cardboard. Fold down the ends like a stick of gum would be wrapped.

Next, make the gum wrapper out of butcher papaer or bulletin board paper. You could use wrapping paper if it is a solid color. Draw a design on the "wrapper" to match your favorite gum.

Glue or sew 2 pieces of ribbon on one end of each of the "sticks of gum". Now tie the ribbon pieces and place the "sticks of gum" on like a sandwich board.

My daughter came up with this costume on her own when she was 10. It was a hit. She won best costume at a Halloween party.
