What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time required to make this costume:
2-3 hours

Difficulty level:
Almost as easy - some sewing

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
2-3 yards of stiff, white material
orange and yellow craft paint
foam paint brushes

Instructions:
Measure the child from the top of the head to the mid-thigh. Cut 2 triangle the length of the measurement. Sew the 2 triangles together, making sure to leave spaces for the arms to extend out of the costume. Cut the top of the triangle off just enough so the child can fit his or her head through the opening. Sew to fit the top of the traingle for the childs head (like a hat). Paint the upper half of the body piece orange, and the bottom half yellow. If needed you can feed a wire through a hem made at the bottom of the costume to help ratain shape.
