4 Star Costume Rating

What age group is this costume for?
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time required to make this costume:
2 hours (including shopping)

Difficulty level:
Almost as easy - some sewing

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
1. A long, flowing dress (it doesn't have to be fancy; your mom can just sew it at the sides and arms)(preferably royal blue, or black)
2. Some gold fabric
3. Some gaudy gold dress up jewelry
4. Dark colored shoes
5. Black hair spray
6. Dark eye liner pencil
7. Bobby pins
8. Gold necklace

Instructions:
1. If not already sewn together, sew dress at the sides(or back) and at the arms, and neck.
2. Take gold fabric and cut into large circle with spacious hole in the middle.
3. Sew this to the dress around the neckline.
4. Apply eyeliner pencil as usual, but let the tip run out about two inches past the eye.
5. Add on your jewelry.
6. Take the gold necklace, and set it on the crown of head. Bobby pin it in place.
Now go out and steal the show!

Other information to consider:
You may want to buy a dress (anywhere, clothing stores sometimes have them made)ahead of time. It does not have to be a nice dress, just something that covers your child up and is not so important that you cannot sew on it.
