Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
yellow baseball hat
yellow pajamas with feet
1 9 X 12 inch orange felt square
2 1 and a half inch white poms
2 20 mm oval wiggle eyes
white or yellow feather boa
scissors
glue gun and glue sticks
orange slipper socks
Instructions:
Cut the brim of the baseball hat into a duck-bill shape. Cut the orange felt in half and glue to the top and bottom of the brim. When glue cools, trim the excess felt to the shape of the brim. Glue wiggle eyes to the white poms and glue poms to the hat just above the brim. Cut a 6-inch piece of boa and glue it to the top of the hat. Cut a few feathers off the boa and glue just above and between the eyes. (If the baseball hat is too large, fold the back in the right size and tape to fit with sturdy tape.)
Glue sections of the boa around the ankles of the pajamas and around the shoulders. Be careful not to cover the zipper.
Pull the orange socks over the pajama feet to make the duck feet.
**Don't glue the boa around the wrist or the neck, to keep the child from getting feathers in his/her mouth.
