Other information to consider:
Two excellent Klutz Press books to get imaginations going: "Face Painting," which includes the paints, and "Make Believe, a book of Costume and Fantasy." The Face Painting book has some nifty costuming ideas; the Make Believe book utilizes minimal or no makeup. Both are highly imaginative, utilizing items from around the house or "recycled" from thrift shops, rummage sales, etc. All are Way more cool than something out of a bag or box!
There are even two ideas for kids to decorate wheelchairs: "Speed Demon" and "Cinderella's Carriage." There are detailed instructions for creating many kinds of Hats. "Make Believe" comes with a box of Fancy thangs, like shimmery beads and rings and a set of vampire teeth; the table of contents features: heroes and sports stars; ballerinas, brides, and fancy ladies; monsters, meanies, and mutations; storybook people; grownups and other career mistakes; feet, fruit, fingers and funny hats.

Either book has potential for Years of use and fun.
