What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger

Estimated time required to make this costume:
2 hrs

Difficulty level:
Almost as easy - some sewing

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
A sweatshirt or jacket with hood
Sweatpants
A bit of blue-gray felt
Pink felt (optional)
Button (optional)
Some black fur
A bit of velcro
Pink ribbon

Instructions:
Sew a small square of velcro to the seat of the pants (this is where the tail will go). Get some clothing dye, blue, and dye the sweatpants and shirt. Just a bit to make it the same grayish-blue as Eeyore has. While it washes, cut out two ears from the blue felt.
(You can cut out the inner ear in the pink felt, smaller then the blue and hot glue it on, if you want.) If you happen to have an Eeyore stuffed animal, a lot of them come off with velcro, you can use one of those. If you need to make one, cut a strip of the blue felt out and sew or hot glue the velcro to one end. Cut out a bit of black fur and glue or sew that to the other end of the tail and tie the pink ribbon around it. You can glue or sew a botton to the top of the tail if you want as well. With a long piece of black fur, sew it to the hood of the sweatshirt. Sew the ears to the sides of the hood, where the top of your child's ears would be touching. You now have an Eeyore costume.
