What age group is this costume for?
Elementary School

Estimated time required to make this costume:
24 hours

Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
Large rectangular shaped cardboard box
Additional box for table legs
Spray paint, any color
Dimensional paint, contrasting color to the spray paint
Glue or heavy duty stapler
String

Instructions:
Cut one large rectangle from one of your boxes. Then cut a hole (just large enough for your child to fit into). With the other box, cut four table legs of equal size. Spray paint the legs and table in your desired color. When dry, write your multiplication facts down the legs of the table in a contrasting color with dimensional paint. When dry, glue or staple the legs to the table. Attach string so that the table rests at waist level. On my son's, we wrote a little poem..."Can you guess what I am? Try if you are able. Don't worry, I'll tell you... I'm a multiplication table!"

Other information to consider:
This was a fun costume that my third grader and I were able to make together!
