Estimated time required to make this costume:
1-2 hrs. (depending on artistic ability)

Difficulty level:
A bit more advanced - sewing definitely required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
(Sewing not really required, but still not the easiest)

* Black makeup
* White makeup
* Red makeup (if opting for easier Kiss-member)
* Rubber band
* Hairspray
* Wig if short-haired (black hairspray if blonde)
* Black clothes (pref. padded sleveless/sideless vest & black leather or stretch pants, but no need to go all out)
* Black platform boots
* Spiked leather dog collar(s),etc.

* Old Kiss album or other pic of Gene Simmons (off the internet, maybe?!)

Instructions:
1) Get dressed (use collar(s) as choker &/or cuffs)

2) Apply makeup to match Gene's face as close as possible

3) Flip hair over, make ponytail; flip head back (ponytail will be high on head--near front)
----Do this to a wig if you have short hair
---Dye hair before getting dressed if blond

4) Tease hair (or wig) & apply Lots of hairspray

Other information to consider:
Don't choose this costume if you don't like sticking your tongue out. (People WILL ask!)
