Estimated time required to make this costume:
1/2 an hour at most, but paint takes time to dry
Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required
Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
1. A Box that's from your head to your thighs
2. Scissors
3. Paint
4. Black Pants
Instructions:
1. Cut off the flaps on one end of the box but save them for later.
2. Cut out a square in the side of the box to look out. Save that too.
3. Cut out 1 tall thin "E" from the scraps. Then glue to either side of the box.
4. Cut out knobs and such from scraps, and glue them wherever you want.
5. Make a flap to fold out to get candy, or just make arm holes in the side.
6. Last thing to do is paint, dark aqua or gray is recommended.
7. When it's Halloween just slip it on, put on the pants and you're ready to go!
Other information to consider:
Arm holes would be more comfortable, but if your child wants it realistic, just make a trap door. You can also do a head hole, but a square in the front of the box works just fine.
