What age group is this costume for? Preschool and Younger Elementary School Middle School
Estimated time required to make this costume: 1/2 hour
Difficulty level: Quick and easy - no sewing required
Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
2 dark blankets (or hooded robe)
2 red diodes (lights)
AA battery pack for 2 AA batteries
black facepaint
string (if no robe)
2 AA batteries
headband
3-4 feet of 2 conducter wire
Instructions:
1. Take 1 blanket & put it over your head like a hood, then tie it like that way so it hangs over your arms & goes to your belly. (If you have a robe, ignore steps 1 & 2 and just put on the robe.)
2. Take the other blanket & tie that around your waist so it hangs down to your feet.
3. Hook the diodes to the headband so when you put the headband across your forehead, they go over your eyebrows like eyes.
4. Put the batteries in the battery pack and hook up the battery pack to the diodes with the wire.
5. Put the battery pack in your pocket and put the headband across your forehead so the diodes go across your eyebrows.
6. Paint your face black.
