What age group is this costume for?

Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time required to make this costume:
A few hours to buy the stuff

Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
* Wire
* Cheap Red Hair Dye (that washes out in a shampoo)
* Two strips of ripped cloth and hair ties
* Brown eye pencil
* 2 mismatched stockings
* Short overalls or dress
* Bright t-shirt
* Boots

Instructions:
Go to the re-sale shop and pick up the stockings, a cotton dress or overalls, and some boots. Die your hair with red dye. Put the cloths on. Part your hair down the middle and divide it into two sections. Secure with a hair tie on each side by your ears. Stick a piece of wire into the hair tie and braid the hair around it, then secure with another tie. Then form the wire so it looks like the braid is flipped up (like Pippi's) and repeat on the other side, then make a bow at the end of the braids with the ripped strip of cloth. Take the brown eye pencil and make freckles on your cheeks.

Other information to consider:
If you can find a little stuffed monkey (like Mr. Neilson) to fasten to your shoulder, that would be cute. This is a cute, original costume for all ages.
