What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time required to make this costume:
30-45 minutes

Difficulty level:
Almost as easy - some sewing

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
~ A large cardboard Box.
~ Tempra Paint (many colors)
~ Blade
~ A box of Dots

Instructions:
REMINDER
You will defintely need a parent's help.
~Cut a hole on the top of the box large enough to fit your child's head through and then some. Also holes for their arms.
~Paint the box. You must be very patient! (this is what makes it hard, there isn't sewing though) Remember also to put newspaper underneath while you are painting. Use the box of Dots to paint (so you can see what it really looks like.)

Other information to consider:
Try not to make both of your children boxes of Dots because they may start pushing on the steps trying to get to the candy first.
You could make them Tic-Tacs if you want (that's what my sister was).
