red sleeper pjs, or red thermals
red fabric scrap for tail
polyfil stuffing
red construction paper or posterboard
black face makeup
red face makeup
Instructions:
Cut two curved triangular shaped pieces of fabric about 8" long. Sew them right sides together leaving the base of the triangle open for stuffing. Stuff firmly and sew end shut. Have the child put on the sleeper and gently :0) pin the tail where you'd like it to be. Remove sleeper and sew tail on firmly (it will likely be tugged at least once!). Cut large ears from the posterboard. Cut a strip of posterboard to fit around the childs head, staple so that it fits snugly (the posterboard, not the head). Staple the ears to the headband. The red face paint is optional, but paint the nose black!
