What age group is this costume for?
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time required to make this costume:
Very little; 20 minutes tops

Difficulty level:
Quick and easy - no sewing required

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
A HUGE, oversized, black, hooded, zip-up sweatshirt
Black electrical tape
A blanket or some towels
A grocery sack full of leaves
A couple of twigs and small branches

Instructions:
Put the black, hooded jacket on and zip it up. Adjust sleeves by rolling them up to just below the wrist. Stuff the blanket or towels up under the jacket to make a completely round shape of the child or person (it helps if you roll it up a bit and wrap it around the person and pull the jacket down over the blanket). Now tape bits of leaves and twigs all over the jacket using the electrical tape. Finally, stick a small branch up each sleeve and either secure it to the jacket with tape or have the person hold it. TADA!!! "It's a shrubbery!!!!"

Other information to consider:
This works best for smaller kids but be careful. If they fall, it isn't easy for them to get back up. Make sure someone is there to help them.
