What age group is this costume for?
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time required to make this costume:
maybe an hour

Difficulty level:
Almost as easy - some sewing

Items you will need: (Hit your return key to start a new line)
yellow felt
a white flat sheet (twin size should be big enough depending on the person wearing the costume; for children, use a half of a twin sheet)
cooking utensils (i.e. spatula, frying pan, etc.)
yarn or ribbon
cotton balls or toilet paper
elastic
white sweat suit

Instructions:
1. cut out two large circles out of the sheet (one for the front and one for the back)
2. cut out a small circle from the yellow felt (about a quarter the size of the white sheet size)
3. sew the white sheet circles together leaving holes for the head, arms and legs
4. sew the yellow felt circle on either side (anywhere) of the white sheet leaving enough room to stuff the cotton balls inside (this will be the yolk of the egg)
5. after the yolk is stuffed you can close that hole
6. sew elastic in the head, arm, and leg holes to make the costume fit better you don't have to do this, but it creates a more real look)
7. tie cooking utensils with yarn or ribbon to the neck, arms, around the head, etc.
